Illuvium is Collectible RPG & Autobattler Game built on the Ethereum Blockchain, releasing on PC and Mac in 2022. Illuvium is a highly anticipated open-world video game aiming to be the first AAA blockchain title in the gaming industry. Illuvium uses a layer-2 scaling solution, Immutable X.

There are over 100 Illuvials to find around the open world that belong to different classes with different affinities. Illuvials connect predominantly with one of 5 elements: Water, Fire, Earth, Air, and Nature and are grouped into one of 5 classes: Fighter, Guardian, Rogue, Psion, and Empath. That means there are lots of possibilities for making a unique team and having an edge.
Fusion is a game term similar to breeding, you burn 2 Illuvials and get a stronger one. (Burn mechanism built-in already)
Fights are similar to Dota Auto Chess, you can’t control pieces on the board.
In addition to the main Illuvium game, there is Illuvium: Zero, a building game that lets players create their own industrial complex that can interact with the main Illuvium game. Illuvium: Zero adds a land component to Illuvium similar to other metaverse real estate markets such as Decentraland or Sandbox. Land in Illuvium: Zero is procedurally generated and players must farm resources on their land to build their complex. The game recently started development on Android and web.
ETH is used for all in-game purchases and the fees are sent directly to the Illuvium Vault.
Shards are probably the most important item in the game. It's similar to pokemon catching, you place defeated Illuvial in the shard. Better shard = better chance for having better Illuvials.
Weapon and Armor on your hero are NFT that has an impact on the battle.
Imbues are cosmetic changes that can add value to a player’s collection by further differentiating their acquisitions from others. At the moment only they are available on Opensea and the official website.
The team wants to have a fair launch, so all in-game NFTs are going to be able to buy by everyone once the game is released or very close to it.
Illuvium’s play-to-earn (P2E) features might be its most exciting. There are several ways you can earn money in Illuvium:
Earn in-game rewards in $ILV through completing PVE quests, achievements, and tournaments;
